To advance to the championship game, Dupont won 12-2 over Jolene Campbell (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Niagara Falls, Ontario; and won 6-5 over Christina Black (Halifax, NS) in the quarterfinals. of the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2 in Niagara Falls, Ontario;
Dupont finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dupont defeated Kim 8-4, then won 5-3 against Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB) and 5-2 against Campbell. Dupont went on to lose 7-3 against Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the HearingLife Tour Challenge Tier 2, Dupont take home 30.250 world rankings points along with the $8,750CDN prize. Dupont move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 15.359 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 22nd overall with 148.828 total points on the World Ranking Standings.
