In their opening game, Brown lost 7-5 to Clancy Grandy (Vancouver, BC), then responded with a 7-6 win over Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB). Brown went on to lose 7-4 against Penny Barker (Moose Jaw, SK). Brown lost 7-4 to Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
