Ethan Sampson (Chaska, MN) run at the Alberta Curling Series - Event 2 came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-6 loss to Daylan Vavrek (Edmonton, AB).

Sampson finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sampson defeated Andrew Dunbar (Edmonton, AB) 6-4, then won 8-4 against Tyler Pfeiffer (Edmonton, AB). Sampson went on to lose 8-3 against Scott Manners (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Sampson earned 3.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Alberta Curling Series - Event 2. For week 15 of the event schedule, Sampson did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 70th to 72nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 49.969 total points.
