Paige Bown (Navan, ON) run at the U25 NextGen Classic came to an end in the semifinals with a 5-2 loss to Serena Gray-Withers (Edmonton, AB). of the U25 NextGen Classic in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada;

Bown finished 3-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bown lost 10-4 to Abby Marks (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Isabelle Ladouceur (Whitby, ON) where Bown responded with a 7-4 win over Tori Zemmelink (Guelph, ON). Bown won 7-4 against Myla Plett (Sherwood Park, AB), then won 7-6 against Jessica Wytrychowski (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Bown earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the U25 NextGen Classic, moving up 21 spots the World Ranking Standings into 86th place overall with 28.156 total points. Bown ranks 34th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.625 points earned so far this season.
