Elsenheimer finished 1-2 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Elsenheimer defeated Daymond Bernath (Saskatoon, SK) 8-3, then went on to lose 8-6 against Parent. Elsenheimer lost 9-1 to Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Saville U25 Challenge, Elsenheimer take home 8.250 world rankings points along with the $1,400CDN prize.
