Dodds Reaches 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship Quarters

Jennifer Dodds (Stirling, SCO) qualified for the 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 8-6 against Cory Thiesse (Duluth, USA). of the 2023 World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship in Gangneung, Korea;

Dodds finished 7-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dodds lost 8-4 to Jennifer Jones (Barrie, CAN), then responded with a 7-1 win over Jasmin Lander (Hvidovre, DEN). Dodds won 7-4 against Vanessa Tonoli (Zoetermeer, NED), then won 11-6 against Jiyoon Kim (Seoul, KOR) and 8-6 against Stefania Constantini (Cortina d'Ampezzo, ITA). Dodds went on to lose 6-5 against Marie Kaldvee (Tallinn, EST). Dodds responded with a 7-6 win over Linda Joo (Budapest, HUN). Dodds won 8-6 against Tahli Gill (Melbourne, AUS), then won 6-5 against Julie Zelingrova (Prague, CZE) in their final qualifying round match.

Dodds earned 33.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the World Mixed Doubles Curling Championship. For week 39 of the event schedule, Dodds did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dodds ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
