Mikkel Krause (Hvidovre, DEN) lost 5-3 to Ross Craik (Stirling, SCO) in the Final of the Danish Open, held November 2 - 5 in Copenhagen, Denmark. To advance to the championship game, Krause won 6-3 over Jonathan Vilandt (Hvidovre, DEN) in the semifinals of the Danish Open in Copenhagen, Denmark; and won 10-7 over Joel Westerberg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the quarterfinals. of the Danish Open in Copenhagen, Denmark;

Krause finished 2-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Krause lost 7-3 to Axel Landelius (Mjoelby, SWE), then responded with a 6-5 win over PaweÅ Hertman (Lodz, POL). Krause won 7-2 against Kjetil Bjoerke (Bygdoy, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Danish Open, Krause take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize, moving up 11 spots the World Ranking Standings into 98th place overall with 32.357 total points. Krause ranks 58th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 24.250 points earned so far this season.
