Martin finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Martin lost 7-2 to Emily Clark (Leduc, AB), then responded with a 9-4 win over Jessica Wytrychowski (Edmonton, AB). Martin won 6-5 against Kerry Galusha (Yellowknife, NT) in their final qualifying round match.
