Konrad Stych (Warsaw, POL) finished 2-3 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stych lost 7-6 to David Sik (Prague, CZE), droppimg another game, 7-6 to Kelly Marnoch (Carberry, MB). Stych lost 6-4 to Ugurcan Karagoz (Erzurum, TUR) where Stych responded with a 5-4 win over Tomas Paul (Prague, CZE). Stych won 7-3 against Switzerland's Andrin Schnider in their final qualifying round match.

Stych earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 16 of the event schedule, Stych did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Stych ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
