Hood went on to lose 7-2 against Andrew Stopera (Duluth, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Hood earned 7.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. Hood move up 20 spots after posting a net gain of 7.125 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 119th overall with 24.305 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Hood ranks 92nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 14.813 points earned so far this season.
