Kleibrink finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleibrink defeated 's Jeff Guignard 11-6, then won 8-1 against Connolly and 8-5 against Jared Kolomaya (Richmond, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Island Shootout, Kleibrink take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize.
