After advancing directly to the championship game, Victor Lee (Taipei City, TPE) lost 7-6 to Randie Shen (Taipei City, TPE) in the Final of the Chinese Taipei Championship, held June 17 - 18 in Chaska, Minnesota.

Lee finished 2-0 in the 3-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lee defeated Nelson Wang (Taipei City, TPE) 10-6, then won 8-6 against Shen in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Chinese Taipei Championship, Lee take home 8.250 world rankings points. Lee gained 10.74 points improving upon their best 2 events, though dropped 192 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 192ndplace overall with 10.740 total points. Lee ranks 5th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 8.250 points earned so far this season.
