Lisa McLeod (Winnipeg, MB) run at the MCT Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-3 loss to Beth Peterson (Winnipeg, MB).

McLeod finished 4-2 in the 9-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McLeod defeated Rachel Kaatz (Winnipeg, MB) 7-1, then won 7-5 against Selena Sturmay (Edmonton, AB). McLeod went on to lose 7-6 against Peterson. McLeod lost 2-0 to Kaatz where McLeod responded with a 10-0 win over Shae Bevan (Winnipeg, MB). McLeod won 8-2 against Emily Cherwinski (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
