Yui Ozeki (Tokyo, JPN) run at the New Year Curling in Miyota 2024 came to an end in the semifinals with a 8-3 loss to Miori Nakamura (Aomori, JPN).

Ozeki finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ozeki defeated Delaney Strouse (Traverse City, MI) 8-3, then won 8-6 against Kai Tsuchiya (Miyota, JPN) and 9-6 against Mayu Minami (Sapporo, JPN). Ozeki went on to lose 7-3 against Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Ozeki earned 10.625 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the New Year Curling in Miyota 2024.
