Pat Ferris (Grimsby, ON) won 4-3 over Jayden King (Guelph, ON) in the Final of the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel, held October 12 - 15 at the Stroud Curling Club in Innisfil, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Ferris won 8-2 over Scott Dunnam (Philadelphia, PA) in the semifinals of the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel in Innisfil, Ontario, Canada; and won 11-4 over Jordan Chandler (Little Current, NONT) in the quarterfinals.

Ferris are currently 1-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris lost 6-4 to Fraser Reid (Waterloo, ON), droppimg another game, 8-3 to Greg Smith (St. John's , NL) where Ferris responded with a 6-5 win over Andrin Schnider (Urdorf, SUI). In their next game, Ferris plays.

For winning the Stroud Sleeman Cash Spiel Championship title, Ferris earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $3,800CDN first prize cheque. Ferris move up 5 spots after posting a net gain of 18.375 points improving upon their best 3 results so far this season, ranking 34th overall with 117.469 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Ferris ranks 43rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 33.000 points earned so far this season.
