Aoki won 7-4 against Kohsuke Hirata (Kitami, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Aoki earned 1.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 110 spots the World Ranking Standings into 333rd place overall with 2.063 total points. Aoki ranks 39th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 1.500 points earned so far this season.
