Lockhart finished 3-2 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lockhart defeated
Torhild Bjoernstad (Oppdal, NOR) 8-0, then won
11-3 against
Yaroslava Kalinichenko (Kyiv, UKR). Lockhart went on to lose
7-4 against
Grandy. Lockhart lost
6-3 to
Morrison where Lockhart responded with a

Fran Stretton (Perth, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Mercure Perth Masters, Lockhart take home
