Adams finished 4-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Adams defeated Mackenzie Mitchell (Halifax, NS) 4-3, then won 7-6 against Tanya Hilliard (Halifax, NS) and 8-2 against Christianson. Adams won 7-3 against Andrea Saulnier (Halifax, NS) in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the New Scotland Brewing Co. Womens Cashspiel Championship title, Adams earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 100th place overall with 20.437 total points. Adams ranks 76th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 10.125 points earned so far this season.
