Shevchuk/Coulot Runner-Up at WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup

Kseniya Shevchuk/Wilfrid Coulot (Megeve, FRA) lost 7-5 to Julie Zelingrova/Vitek Chabicovsky (Prague, CZE) in the Final of the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup, held October 12 - 15 in Kitzbuehel, Austria. To advance to the championship game, Shevchuk/Coulot won 8-5 over Laura Engler/Kevin Wunderlin (Zug, SUI) in the semifinals of the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup in Kitzbuehel, Austria; Kseniya Shevchuk/Wilfrid Coulot (Megeve, FRA) qualified for the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup playoffs, set to play their quarterfinals match against Joy Sutor/Leonhard Angrick (Fuessen, GER).

Shevchuk/Coulot finished 2-2 in the 14-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shevchuk/Coulot lost 9-5 to Zelingrova/Chabicovsky, then responded with a 7-3 win over Nataliya Artemova/Peter Gaedeke (Cologne, GER). Shevchuk/Coulot went on to lose 11-5 against Engler/Wunderlin. Shevchuk/Coulot responded with a 8-4 win over Sutor/Angrick in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the WCT Austrian Mixed Doubles Cup, Shevchuk/Coulot take home 5.500 world rankings points along with the $800CDN prize, moving up 8 spots the World Ranking Standings into 806th place overall with 8.312 total points. Shevchuk/Coulot ranks 72nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 5.500 points earned so far this season.
