Ponzio finished 4-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ponzio defeated William Jordan (St. Paul, MN) 8-2, then won 9-2 against Riley Galatis (Wayland, MA) and 8-3 against Ethan Macomber (Portage, WI). Ponzio won 8-2 against Alicia Quello (Bemidji, MN). Ponzio went on to lose 6-5 against McMullin in their final qualifying round match.
