ByeongJin Jeong (Seoul, KOR) lost 7-3 to Kim in the Final of the Uiseong Korean Cup, held November 20 - 24, 2023 in Uiseong, Korea. To advance to the championship game, Jeong won 8-6 over Soo-Hyuk Kim (Gyeongbuk, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2023 Uiseong Korean Cup in Uiseong, Korea;
 
Jeong finished 2-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jeong defeated Kim 7-6, then won 12-1 against Jinhan Yoo (Uiseong, KOR). Jeong went on to lose 10-8 against Korea's Jeongmin Kim. Jeong lost 6-4 to JaeBeom Lee (Uiseong, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Uiseong Korean Cup, Jeong take home 2.750 world rankings points, remaining in 32nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 0.5 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jeong ranks 33rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 60.375 points earned so far this season.
