Kapp8-0 at World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2023

Lena Kapp (Fuessen, GER) finished 8-0 in the 26-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kapp defeated Alison Fyfe (Dublin, IRL) 11-2, then won 13-2 against Keremet Asanbaeva (Bishkek, KGZ) and 12-0 against Santa Blumberga-Berzina (Riga, LAT). Kapp won 10-4 against Namini Chaudhari (Hyderabad, IN), then won 9-5 against Amanda Chou (Taipei City, TPE) and 11-2 against Ling-Yue Hung (Hong Kong, HKG). Kapp won 8-3 against Diana Moskalenko (Kyiv, UKR), then won 7-5 against Ying Yang (Beijing, CHN) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the World Mixed Doubles Qualification Event 2023 Championship title, Kapp earned 13.000 world rankings points. For week 20 of the event schedule, Kapp did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kapp ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
