Selahattin Eser (Erzurum, TUR) finished 2-4 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Eser defeated Aidos Alliyar (Almaty, KAZ) 9-4, then went on to lose 11-2 against Johnson Tao (Edmonton, CAN). Eser lost 10-2 to Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) where Eser responded with a 6-5 win over Antoni Frynia (Lodz, POL). Eser went on to lose 8-5 against Ryo Aoki (Sapporo, JPN). Eser lost 11-5 to Matthaus Hofer (Kitzbuehel, AUT) in their final qualifying round match.

Eser earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 22 of the event schedule, Eser did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Eser ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
