Yuka Takimoto (Chubu, JPN) run at the Chubu Curling Championships came to an end in the semifinals with a 4-2 loss to Aoi Watanabe (Chubu, JPN). of the Chubu Curling Championships in Chubu, Japan;

Takimoto finished 4-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Takimoto defeated Watanabe 9-7, then won 10-3 against Mayumi Mori (Chubu, JPN) and 9-2 against Akemi Kawahara (Chubu, JPN). Takimoto went on to lose 7-6 against Yumiko Kashiwagi (Chubu, JPN). Takimoto responded with a 12-5 win over Fuyuka Furuta (Chubu, JPN) in their final qualifying round match.

Takimoto earned 2.125 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Chubu Curling Championships. For week 21 of the event schedule, Takimoto did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Takimoto ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
