To advance to the championship game, Sluchinski/Sluchinski won 9-0 over Paige Papley/Evan van Amsterdam (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals of the Curling Alberta Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship in Lethbridge; and won 9-8 over Kayla Skrlik/Jeremy Harty (Calgary, AB) in the quarterfinals. of the Curling Alberta Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship in Lethbridge;

Sluchinski/Sluchinski finished 4-1 in the 13-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sluchinski/Sluchinski defeated Jessica Wytrychowski/Michael Dumont (Airdrie, AB) 5-3, then went on to lose 7-6 against Schmiemann/Ginter. Sluchinski/Sluchinski responded with a 8-3 win over Ashley Kalk/Craig MacAlpine (Edmonton, AB). Sluchinski/Sluchinski won 9-1 against Zoe Cinnamon/Gabriel Dyck (Edmonton, AB) to advance to the B-Qualifier where they 8-1 against Brittany Tran/Bradley Thiessen (Calgary, AB) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Curling Alberta Mixed Doubles Provincial Championship Championship title, Sluchinski/Sluchinski earned 11.250 world rankings points.
