Osten Sahulka (Brandon, MB) finished 2-3 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sahulka lost 11-2 to Johnson Tao (Edmonton, AB), droppimg another game, 7-5 to Kenan Wipf (Calgary, AB) where Sahulka responded with a 7-4 win over Sam Nygaard (Lethbridge, AB). Sahulka went on to lose 8-4 against Josh Bryden (Regina, SK). Sahulka responded with a 7-5 win over Reid Zingel (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.

Sahulka earned 0.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 26 of the event schedule, Sahulka did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Sahulka ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
