Claes Mattsson (Jonkoping, SWE) qualified for the Swedish Curling Championships playoffs, set to play their quarterfinals match against Johan Nygren (Umea, SWE). of the Swedish Curling Championships in Jonkoping, Sweden;

Mattsson responded with a 6-4 win over Claes Eriksson (Uppsala, SWE) in their final qualifying round match.

Mattsson earned 3.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Swedish Curling Championships, moving up 225 spots the World Ranking Standings into 255th place overall with 3.563 total points. Mattsson ranks 256th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 3.563 points earned so far this season.
