Kaarel Holm (Tallinn, EST) finished 4-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Holm defeated Andres Jakobson (Tallinn, EST) 8-6, then went on to lose 10-6 against Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST). Holm responded with a 11-4 win over Margit Peebo (Tallinn, EST). Holm went on to lose 7-6 against Liisa Turmann (Tallinn, EST). Holm responded with a 9-2 win over Olev Gudovski (Tallinn, EST). Holm won 9-8 against Margus Tubalkain (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Estonian Curling Championships, Holm take home 2.750 world rankings points. For week 28 of the event schedule, Holm did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Holm ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
