Stefanie Lawton (Saskatoon, SK) won 6-2 over Cheryl Bernard (Calgary, AB) in the Final of the The Shoot-Out, held September 15 - 18, 2011 in Edmonton, Alberta. To advance to the championship game, Lawton won 7-3 over Crystal Webster (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2011 The Shoot-Out in Edmonton, Alberta; and won 7-3 over Renee Sonnenberg (Grande Prairie, AB) in the quarterfinals.
 
Lawton finished 5-0 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lawton defeated Casey Scheidegger (Lethbridge, AB) 6-2, then won 10-1 against Cathy King (Edmonton, AB) and 5-4 against Vanessa Pouliot (Edmonton, AB). Lawton won 6-3 against Chana Martineau (Edmonton, AB), then won 6-2 against Chelsea Carey (Morden, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the The Shoot-Out Championship title, Lawton earned 29.960 world rankings points along with the $4,500CDN first prize cheque, moving up 4 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 175.850 total points. Lawton ranks 1st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 29.960 points earned so far this season.
