Switzerland's Mirjam Ott finished 5-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Switzerland's Mirjam Ott defeated Sarah Reid (Glasgow, SCO) 5-4, then won 5-2 against Zuzana Hajkova (Prague, CZE) and 7-5 against Jonna McManus (Gavle, SWE). Switzerland's Mirjam Ott won 6-5 against Germany's Daniela Driendl, then won 9-2 against Jennifer Martin (Killmarnock, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Glynhill Ladies International Championship title, Switzerland's Mirjam Ott earned 13.250 world rankings points along with the $3,936CDN first prize cheque, remaining in 7th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 196.640 total points. Switzerland's Mirjam Ott ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.390 points earned so far this season.
