Craig Brown (Madison, WI) qualified for the 2014 FSCC U.S. Open of Curling playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-4 against Minnesota's Pete Fenson. of the 2014 FSCC U.S. Open of Curling in Blaine, Minnesota;

Brown finished 4-1 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Brown defeated Cory Christensen (Duluth, MN) 7-3, then won 6-5 against Minnesota's Pete Fenson and 7-1 against Alexandra Carlson (St Paul, MN). Brown went on to lose 6-5 against Peter Stolt (St. Paul, MN). Brown responded with a 6-3 win over Stephen Dropkin (Saint Paul, MN) in their final qualifying round match.

Brown earned 2.325 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the FSCC U.S. Open of Curling, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 53rd place overall with 33.009 total points. Brown ranks 48th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 18.415 points earned so far this season.
