Muirhead responded with a 1-0 win over Angelina Jensen (Hvidovre, DEN). Muirhead won 7-1 against Elena Stern (Wetzikon, SUI), then won 10-3 against Silvana Tirinzoni (Aarau, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the International Bernese Ladies Cup Championship title, Muirhead earned 31.990 world rankings points along with the $6,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 1 spots the World Ranking Standings into 2nd place overall with 342.535 total points. Muirhead ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 153.440 points earned so far this season.
