6-5 to Alina Kovaleva (Moscow, RUS), then responded with a 10-6 win over Fabienne Furbringer (Uitikon, SUI). Vevers went on to lose 6-5 against Elena Stern (Wetzikon, SUI). Vevers responded with a 10-3 win over Evita Regza (Riga, LAT). Vevers went on to lose 5-3 against Stern in their final qualifying round match.
