Muirhead finished 8-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Muirhead defeated Hazel Smith (Kilmarnock, SCO) 12-1, then won 8-2 against Fleming. Muirhead went on to lose 10-5 against Gina Aitken (Stirling, SCO). Muirhead responded with a 9-0 win over Lauren Gray (Stirling, SCO). Muirhead won 9-6 against Katie Murray (Edinburgh, SCO). Muirhead went on to lose 5-3 against Smith. Muirhead responded with a 7-4 win over Fleming. Muirhead won 10-3 against Aitken, then won 10-8 against Gray and 16-5 against Murray in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Scottish Curling Championships Championship title, Muirhead earned 5.520 world rankings points. Muirhead gained 2.52 points improving upon their best events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 3rdplace overall with 336.677 total points. Muirhead ranks 4th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 150.305 points earned so far this season.
