Jennifer Jones (Winnipeg, MB) lost 8-7 to Rachel Homan (Ottawa, ON) in the Final of the Meridian Canadian Open, held December 8 - 13, 2015 in Yorkton, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Jones won 7-2 over Eve Muirhead (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2015 Meridian Canadian Open in Yorkton, Saskatchewan; and won 6-2 over Tracy Fleury (Sudbury, NO) in the quarterfinals.
 
Jones finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jones defeated Margaretha Sigfridsson (Sundsvall, SWE) 8-4, then won 6-5 against Kelsey Calvert (Edmonton, AB) and 7-5 against Val Sweeting (Edmonton, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Meridian Canadian Open, Jones take home 67.836 world rankings points along with the $14,000CDN prize, remaining in 2nd place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 60.241 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jones ranks 2nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 359.989 points earned so far this season.
