Mike Farbelow (St. Paul, MN) 5-4, then went on to lose 5-2 against Pete Fenson (Blaine, USA). Casey responded with a 5-3 win over Stephen Dropkin (Minneapolis, MN). Casey went on to lose 6-3 against John Epping (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
The berth into the first round of the ASHAM U.S. Open of Curling playoffs earned Casey 2.083 world rankings points. For week 20 of the event schedule, Casey did not improve upon their best events, remaining at 20th place on the World Ranking Standings with 235.626 total points.
