Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO) run at the 2019 Players' Championship came to an end in the semifinals with a 7-4 loss to Brendan Bottcher (Edmonton, AB). of the 2019 Players' Championship in Toronto, Ontario; Paterson advanced through the quarterfinals with a 6-5 win over Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT).

Paterson went on to lose 7-3 against Kevin Koe (Calgary, AB). Paterson responded with a 4-2 win over Glenn Howard (Penetanguishe, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
