Gushue won 11-6 against Koe in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gushue earned 49.133 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Home Hardware Canada Cup of Curling, dropping 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 3rd place overall with 497.944 total points.
