To advance to the championship game, Fenner won 5-2 over William Lyburn (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2018 Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada; and won 6-4 over Tyler Drews (Winnipeg, MB) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Mother Club Fall Curling Classic in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada;
 
Fenner finished 3-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenner defeated Richard Muntain (Pinawa , MB) 6-5, then won 6-2 against Jia Liang Zang (Harbin, CHN) and 8-5 against David Bohn (Winnipeg, MB). Fenner went on to lose 7-3 against Lyburn in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Mother Club Fall Curling Classic, Fenner take home 22.440 world rankings points along with the $1,300CDN prize, moving up 2 spots the World Ranking Standings into 25th place overall with 134.312 total points. Fenner ranks 28th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 22.440 points earned so far this season.
