Kelsey Rocque (Edmonton, AB) lost 7-3 to Alina Kovaleva (Saint-Petersburg, RUS) in the Final of the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, held September 27 - 30, 2018 at the Vernon Curling Club in Vernon, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Rocque won 5-3 over Un-Chi Gim (Gyeonggi -do, KOR) in the semifinals of the 2018 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada; and won 8-2 over Karla Thompson (Kamloops/Vancouver, BC) in the quarterfinals. of the 2018 Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic in Vernon, British Columbia, Canada;
 
Rocque finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rocque defeated Lindsay Hudyma (Vancouver, BC) 7-2, then won 7-3 against Shaina McGiverin (Vernon, BC) and 6-4 against Kovaleva. Rocque won 8-4 against Sijia Liu (Harbin, CHN). Rocque went on to lose 9-2 against Corryn Brown (Kamloops, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, Rocque take home 29.244 world rankings points along with the $6,900CDN prize, moving up 6 spots the World Ranking Standings into 23rd place overall with 138.258 total points. Rocque ranks 11th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 51.936 points earned so far this season.
