Thompson finished 4-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thompson defeated Taylor Reese-Hansen (Victoria, BC) 6-3, then won 5-3 against Kesa Van Osch (Parksville, BC) and 12-1 against Chiaki Matsumura (Nagano, JPN). Thompson won 8-5 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Thompson went on to lose 6-0 against Janais DeJong (Sexsmith , AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Thompson earned 15.951 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Prestige Hotels & Resorts Curling Classic, moving up 20 spots the World Ranking Standings into 81st place overall with 40.856 total points. Thompson ranks 52nd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 17.949 points earned so far this season.
