Fenner finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Fenner defeated Jason Smith (Blaine, MN) 8-4, then went on to lose 7-5 against Evan Workin (Fargo, ND). Fenner responded with a 6-4 win over Craig Nicko (Blaine, MN). Fenner won 8-7 against SooHyuk Kim (Seoul, KOR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Let's Cure Lupus St. Paul Cash Spiel, Fenner take home 16.406 world rankings points along with the $3,240CDN prize, remaining in 26th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 5.219 after improving upon their best so far this season.
