Tarsunova lost 11-2 to Japan's Satsuki Fujisawa. Tarsunova lost 8-7 to Romania's Iulia Traila where Tarsunova responded with a 8-1 win over Ukraine's Olena Pazderska. Tarsunova won 7-6 against Denmark's Christine Groenbech in their final qualifying round match.
