Groenbech lost 11-5 to Jocelyn Peterman (Canada) where Groenbech responded with a 12-3 win over Olena Pazderska (Ukraine). Groenbech won 12-7 against Iulia Traila (Romania). Groenbech went on to lose 7-6 against Tatsiana Tarsunova (Minsk, BLR) in their final qualifying round match.
