Wang lost 6-4 to Matthew Neilson (Naseby, NZL) where Wang responded with a 8-6 win over Luca Rizzolli (Cembra, ITA) in their final qualifying round match.

Wang earned 2.640 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 28 of the event schedule, Wang did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Wang ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
