Peter De Cruz (Geneva, SUI) won 6-2 over Ross Paterson (Glasgow, SCO) in the Final of the Swiss Cup Basel, held October 3 - 6, 2019 in Basel, Switzerland. To advance to the championship game, De Cruz won 7-1 over Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2019 Swiss Cup Basel in Basel, Switzerland; and won 4-1 over Bruce Mouat (Edinburgh, SCO) in the quarterfinals.
 
De Cruz finished 4-0 in the 32-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, De Cruz defeated Noe Traub (Basel, SUI) 10-1, then won 9-5 against Daniel Magnusson (Karlstad, SWE) and 5-4 against Glen Muirhead (Perth, SCO). De Cruz won 7-1 against Mouat in their final qualifying round match.
