To advance to the championship game, Balsdon won 7-6 over Sophie Jackson (Dumfries, SCO) in the semifinals of the 2019 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada; and won 8-2 over Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in the quarterfinals. of the 2019 KW Fall Classic in Waterloo, Ontario, Canada;
 
Balsdon finished 3-1 in the 20-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Balsdon lost 8-5 to Kaitlyn Jones (Toronto, ON), then responded with a 8-4 win over Stephanie Senneker (Kalamazoo, MI). Balsdon won 7-4 against Marie-Elaine Little (Ottawa, ON), then won 6-0 against Erica Hopson (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the KW Fall Classic, Balsdon take home 27.626 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize.
