Tirinzoni finished 8-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Tirinzoni defeated Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER) 6-5, then won 9-3 against Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) and 7-3 against Kovaleva. Tirinzoni went on to lose 9-8 against Muirhead. Tirinzoni responded with a 11-3 win over Marianne Rorvik (Oslo, NOR). Tirinzoni won 6-4 against Mathilde Halse (Hvidovre, DEN), then won 11-6 against Marie Turmann (Tallinn, EST) and 10-7 against Anna Kubeskova (Prague, CZE). Tirinzoni won 9-3 against Iveta Stasa-Sarsune (Riga, LAT) in their final qualifying round match.
With their third place finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European Curling Championships, Tirinzoni earn 34.957 world rankings points. Tirinzoni gained 2.174 points improving upon their best 6 events, though dropped 1 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 3rdplace overall with 537.651 total points.
