Watt responded with a 6-3 win over Bryce. Watt went on to lose 8-3 against Craik. Watt lost 10-2 to Paterson where Watt responded with a 8-5 win over Strawhorn in their final qualifying round match.
 
Watt earned 4.660 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, moving up 12 spots the World Ranking Standings into 88th place overall with 43.717 total points. Watt ranks 97th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 31.432 points earned so far this season.
