Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) lost 11-6 to Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED) in the Final of the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, held November 19 - 26, 2022 in Ostersund, Sweden. Advancing directly to the semifinals, Kiiskinen won 6-3 over Eddy Mercier (Megeve, FRA) to advance to the championship game. of the 2023 Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships in Ostersund, Sweden;
Kiiskinen finished 6-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kiiskinen defeated Konstantin Rykov (Vilnius, LTU) 7-3, then went on to lose 8-7 against James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL). Kiiskinen responded with a 11-2 win over Ireland's John Wilson. Kiiskinen won 6-3 against Juraj Gallo (Bratislava, SVK), then won 10-4 against Andrew Woolston (Kent, ENG) and 7-4 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR). Kiiskinen won 11-4 against Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships, Kiiskinen take home 16.500 world rankings points. For week 17 of the event schedule, Kiiskinen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Kiiskinen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
